Personal Statement

      Born and raised in the hills and countryside of Pennsylvania, I have always had a passion for writing. In my youth, I resurrected an old portable typewriter and took it to my secret garden, propping it on a crate under the lilac canopy to write stories. Now I prop my laptop wherever I am and create written versions of people's lives. 
      Writing came naturally and has always been fun for me. My favorite high school and university classes were language usage and creative writing. Instructors who inspired me to read and understand the dictionary were forever imprinted in my soul.
      In the metropolitan and commercial world, my enthusiasm for creative writing morphed through business opportunities, over decades of electronic and global advancements. Freelance writing and editing unleashed my superpower for understanding the perspectives of others, helping them to write about their lives and careers from their vantage point. Enabling others in true discovery of their individual paths and achievement of dreams is an honor for me. I work with clients ranging from seasoned professionals to people just beginning their life’s calling.
